Phase 1 Metrorail service is planned to terminate at Wiehle Avenue in 2011. A second phase is planned to extend the service to Dulles Airport and Ashburn at a later date. The phase 1 service would operate with a mix of 6- and 8-car trains approximately 7 minutes apart during peak periods and 4-car trains at 12-minute intervals in the off-peak periods.

Many thanks to the Dulles Corridor Rapid Transit Project team who have worked so hard to develop these plans.

More information on the project including additional aerial photographs may be found at the project website at www.dullestransit.com.
