The trail crosses this bridge. The road fords the stream to the left of the bridge.

The trail crosses a retention basin. Part of the dam eroded during a severe storm in June 2006.

On the other side of the dam there are trails to the left and right. Take the trail up the hill. The Cross County Trail goes to the right here and passes through a wet area.

The trail descends on these wooden steps. Turn left at the bottom of the steps. Do not continue straight down the hill.

The trail climbs back up the hill and stays close to the homes on the top.

The trail descends another hill. A trail intersects from the left. Continue straight down the hill to reach the bottom..
