The trail intersects with Herndon Parkway. Turn right to follow the sidewalk.

Follow the sidewalk with the Stuart Woods Apartments on the right. Continue past the apartments.

Turn right onto the asphalt trail leading to the picnic pavilion. The trail turns left prior to the pavilion.
