Prior to the top of the hill a narrow trail branches to the left. Stay on the trail along the pipeline.

The trail intersects with a path along Lake Newport Rd. Turn right and follow that trail.

The trail crosses Elk Point Dr and continues to follow Lake Newport Rd.

Another trail intersects from the right. Continue along Lake Newport Rd.

Just prior to Armstrong School take the crosswalk shown across Lake Newport Rd.

Take the wide trail to the left down the hill on the other side of Lake Newport Rd. Do not take the trail down the steps.
