The path goes under the Dumbarton (Buffalo) Bridge that takes Q Street over the park.

Look up to your right after passing under the bridge to see one of the buffalo statues.

The path turns right after going under the P St Bridge. Do not cross the entrance road but continue along the dirt path up the hill next to the entrance road.

At the top of the hill turn left to follow the sidewalk west along P St. Buildings should be on your right.

Notice the great care given to the many older homes here.

Turn right and follow the sidewalk 2 blocks along 28th St.
