After leaving the overlook continue south along the main trail.

Notice the trail continues to follow the canal on the right although there is very little water in the canal here.

The river trail branches off to the left here. Continue straight on the present trail.

Just beyond the river trail a trail intersects from the right. A stream flows along that trail and fills the canal with water for a short distance. Continue straight on the present trail.

Continue straight on the present trail as it enters the woods.

15c

A trail intersects from the right. Continue straight on the present trail. The section to the right was a holding basin for canal boats waiting to enter the locks.
