Driving Directions to Difficult Run Park parking area.
From Reston:
East on Baron Cameron Ave. to Route 7.
Right turn onto Route 7.
At blinking yellow traffic light turn left onto Colvin Run Rd.
Turn left onto Walker Road.
Turn right onto Georgetown Pike at the traffic light in the town of Great
Falls.
Continue straight on Georgetown Pike crossing Old Dominion Drive at the traffic
light marking the entrance to Great Falls Park.
After driving 0.5 miles past the traffic light turn right at the sign marking
the entrance to the parking area. The sign cannot be seen from a distance
but is just prior to a sharp bend to the right in the road.
From the Beltway:
Exit the Beltway at Route 193 (Georgetown Pike)
Go west on Georgetown Pike about 3.3 miles to the crossing of Difficult Run
on a large steel bridge.
After the bridge the road turns sharply to the right and then to the left.
The entrance to the Difficult Run Park parking area is marked by a sign on
the left just past the turn to the left and is only 0.1 miles from the Difficult
Run bridge.
