The detour to Lake Fairfax meets the regular path on the far side of the clearing. Turn left at the post and follow the trail. Do not take the dirt road down the hill.

The path crosses a wooden bridge. If you encounter a gravel section on the path you are on the road mentioned in 19 and must go back up the hill to the clearing.

The path crosses a culvert. This simply serves as a landmark to confirm you are on the right path.

The path climbs stairs leading to Hunt Club Rd.

Cross Hunt Club Rd and follow the sidewalk on the other side to the right.

Turn left on the first asphalt path on the left where the road curves to the right. It is just prior to the white mailbox in the photo.
