Burke Centre - The Landings

Directions:
The walk starts at the Town Center Shopping Center. Park near the intersection of Burke Centre Parkway and Burke Commons Road.
- Walk across Burke Centre Parkway on the west side of Burke Commons Road. Turn right after crossing the street and follow the asphalt trail into the woods. Do not turn left at the next intersecting trail leading towards the houses.
- Turn right at the next trail intersection so that the woods remain on your right.
- Continue straight at the next trail intersection keeping the woods on your right.
- After intersecting with Roberts Parkway cross that road and take the asphalt trail to the right.
- Upon nearing Burke Centre Parkway the trail curves to the left. At the next trail intersection take the trail to the right up the hill adjacent to Burke Centre Parkway. Turn left onto the concrete sidewalk after passing the house on the left. Stay on the sidewalk with houses on the left and street parking on the right.
- The sidewalk ends and an asphalt trail begins in the same direction. Stay straight on the asphalt trail.
- A trail intersects from the right. Stay straight on the current trail. (The main trail appears to curve to or from the right at many intersections. However, stay to the left until crossing a bridge at point 11 in the instructions.)
- A trail intersects from the right. Stay straight on the current trail.
- A trail intersects from the right. Stay straight on the current trail.
- A trail intersects from the right. Stay straight on the current trail.
- A trail intersects from the right. Stay straight on the current trail. After crossing the bridge turn right to follow the creek on the right.
- Trails intersect from the left and the right. Stay straight on the current trail and follow the creek on the right.
- A trail intersects from the left. Stay on the current trail as it crosses the bridge and turns right to follow the creek.
- Turn left at the next trail intersection. Stay straight on this trail as it goes up a hill between the houses.
- Cross Burnside Landing Drive and turn left to follow the sidewalk on the other side.
- After crossing Oak Leather Drive turn right to follow the sidewalk along that road.
- An asphalt trail intersects on the left coming between the houses. Continue straight on the sidewalk.
- An asphalt trail intersects on the left just prior to a creek. Turn left to follow that trail with the creek on the right.
- The trail crosses Vernons Oak Court. Continue straight on the trail.
- At the next trail intersection take the trail to the left. Do not cross the bridge to the right.
- After a short distance a bridge will be crossed. Turn right at the next intersecting trail and walk up the hill between the houses.
- The trail crosses Clermont Landing Court. Continue straight on the trail on the other side of that road.
- Turn right at the next trail intersection. Another trail intersects from the right. Continue straight on the current trail.
- After passing a tot lot on the left turn left at the next trail intersection. The trail crosses a bridge and will shortly turn right and go up the hill between the homes.
- Turn left and follow the sidewalk at Steamboat Landing Lane.
- An asphalt trail intersects from the left. Cross the street and take the trail between the houses as it continues on the other side of the street. It will turn left to pass behind the houses.
- An asphalt trail intersects from the left. Continue straight on the current trail. Shortly a flagstone path intersects from the right. Continue straight on the asphalt trail.
- The trail crosses Eagle Landing Road. Continue straight on the other side.
- After the trail has made several turns a trail will intersect from the right. Continue straight on the present trail.
- The trail turns to the left and follows a fence on the right. After a short distance a trail intersects on the right. Turn right and continue following that fence.
- The trail crosses Roberts Parkway. Continue straight on that trail on the other side of the street. Do not take the trail to the right immediately after crossing the bridge.
- A trail intersects from the left just prior to the houses. Stay on the current trail as it turns slightly to the right. Upon reaching the street turn left to follow the concrete sidewalk in front of the homes.
- At the intersection with Pond Spice Lane cross over and follow the sidewalk on the right side of that road.
- Continue on the sidewalk on Pond Spice Lane after it crosses Marshall Pond Road.
- Upon reaching Burke Centre Parkway cross that road to end the walk.
