The above aerial photo will give you an idea of the size of Brookside Gardens. A map of the gardens may be obtained at the visitor center information desk. They will mark a recommended tour on the map based on your interests. The gardens are wheelchair accessible.

Following are a few photographs taken on the grounds in April and May 2004.

Tulips and pansies
A good spot to photograph a lovely lady.
Azaleas line many of the pathways.
Bridge to the Anderson Pavillion.
A barn swallow poses at the Japanese Tree House.
Mother duck leads her kids around the pond.
These fish are for display and are easy to find near the Japanese Tea House.

There are too many activities such as plant sales, gardening courses, live butterfly shows, and photography workshops to list here. The official Brookside Gardens website is the best place to get this information. We may be able to help you with driving directions and parking information however.
