One of our goals was to view the transition from the commercial area to the residential area. We walked west on Bethesda Avenue from the parking garage entrance.
This plaza connecting Bethesda Ave. to Elm St. was only a short distance from the parking garage entrance. Lunch time was an hour away so little was going on in the plaza. |
In the next block these stores all feature private street parking.

Bethesda Ave. ends here and becomes Exeter Road. Residents living here have an easy walk to downtown Bethesda and public transportation. |
