Broadcasting the Hoover Inauguration
This was the AT&T control console for broadcasting President Hoover's inauguration on March 4, 1929. Notice that the AT&T engineers are sitting on wooden boxes. The console was located under the capitol steps. This was only the second nationwide radio broadcast of a presidential inauguration.
